We had an employee that experienced heat exhaustion while out on a job one day with the crew installing a pool. He had recently started with the company and didn't realize how important it was to drink tons of fluids to replenish his body.. He got extremely dizzy, and complained of a severe headache. The crew had called an ambulance just to be on the safe size, and one of the EMT's told us that's what it was.

I knew someone who suffered for heat exhaustion while working on an oil rig. He started sobbing uncontrollably for no apparent reason. His coworkers told him that is one of the symptoms.

I once suffered fromdehydration even after continually telling others of the dangers. I started working in the mid day sun and it just left mymind to drink after a point I didn't want to drink.I was lucky and put on a drip and recovered, a colleague was not so lucky due to the heat and his dehydration he suffered dammage to his kidneys which will affect him for the rest of his life
