fat loss for idiots

It is fruit season. Nice time of year for fresh food to be sure. I like to start my day with something a bit solid like a Bagel with Nutella (real high in calories though) but I like to eat a lot of fruit as well as I go through my day. On the weekends my diet is not nearly as structured as during the week but again I seem to naturally get a lot of fruit in in the summer.

How much I love fruit, all fruit. Pineapples, apples, oranges, nectarines, plums, grapes (my sons favorite), watermellon (my daughters favorite).

Fruit is great for you, high in Vitamin C, Antioxidants on water. There is actually a diet called Fit for life, not to be confused with Body for life that talks of eating nothing but fruit until your salad for lunch. I am not a big supporter of eating only fruit for so much of the day but at least there is a template to go by.

One of the really great things about fruit is the high water content but one of the real downsides of fruit is the fact that fruit does not have any protein and you know how big a proponent of protein that I am.

Eat lots of fruit every day, summer doesn’t last long enough as it is but at the same time try to keep that core three meals in your eating style and then supplement lots of fruit in between those meals.
