I just found a reference to a report on Science Daily showing that obesity problems in North America can be directly attributed to overeating. The study originated in Europe and included almost 2400 people as well as using stats on the amount of food grown as well as imported. Here is a bit of a quote:
As much as we like to point fingers at a host of different causes of obesity, it seems that eating more calories is the number one culprit.
So if we are to agree that eating causes obesity then it should be simply a case that if you decrease eating then you should lose that extra weight right? Well i am not so sure. The fact is that even though this study may show that the leading cause of obesity is greater food intake, which I agree with. The move from an agrarian society to a more urban lifestyle over the last 50 or so years I am sure would contribute. Many people do not walk or exercise more than getting to the car and then getting to the office. Looking to make a change and lose some weight? I have reviewed the top diet on the internet and you can go and read over 200 comments people have made about why this diet has worked well for them, as well as some of the problems.
