Well I thought tonight I would post a little about me. I am often posting tips and I am not sure how I come off to you but I have the same problems with motivation and consistency as anyone else.

I started the year really busy and it really affected my eating and exercise. I am really fortunate to have a wife that makes it very clear to me when I am eating and snacking badly and when I am missing workouts.

The last few weeks have been a bit crazy at home, at work, and within my own head, my motivation has sucked over the last few weeks. Does that sound familiar, I bet I am not the only one starting the year a bit badly.

So last week, the 5th week of the year I finally tried to snap back into a better schedule and think that I will start to posting more about my eating and workouts on this blog. Last week I started doing weights again and a couple of days ago I went for my first bike ride in a few months (the weather finally got warm enough here in Calgary). I have also started to get a lot more serious about my eating.

So if you are in the same place as me, just getting started again after a bit of a break. Then here are a few quick tips to get started today in jumping back in.

Have real goals – You know how to goal set so do it. Today site down and tell yourself and anyone you care to share it with what you want in 1 month, 6 months a year, and 5 years. Oh, and while you are at it have a plan for each of those goals. Without a plan you plan to fail.

Get a plan – Every morning you need to get yourself a piece of paper out and get a plan as to what you want to concentrate on and do. What you want to eat and snack for the day. What you need to have for exercise for the day and then after that your other things in your life you want to do.

Change the way that you think – What are you thinking about right no? Is it something bad or something good? You need to have good thoughts all the time. Life around can by crap sometimes and with crap you need to push it away for it can consume you.

Has this post been a wake up call? I hope so. Sometimes we will read something that we have seen a few times and we don’t really notice it until something snaps in our brain and we see a solution to a lot of our problems that has been there all the time. Go ahead, if this has been good for you let us all know what you are planning to do and what your next weeks and months are going to be like.

    1. Great post! Acai is an awesome product and it’s really just exploding.

Rachael Ray rated Acai Berry #1 Superfood! For example, check out this awesome Acai product:

Good post. One of the best motivational tools is to tell your friends and family of your goals, and then finding a partner to help you out.
