This morning I was telling my wife that I am not sure how many health / food / exercise shows that we need. The networks and advertisers have seen the potential of the Biggest Loser and we keep getting more of these shows. But they always seem to be catering to the same audience…me. That is what Jamie Oliver Food Revolution is all about
So Jamie Oliver, a world class chef with lots of experience on TV, and apparently a camera crew go single handedly into the town of Huntington West Virginia and tries to change the eating habits of the town.
The drama is something to see. The town seems to be completely against Jamie Oliver and the idea of change. There is a start to the show where the food at the local elementary school is looked at and is a bit horrifying.
The school has a breakfast program and a lunch program (which is initially fantastic to see) and the food is terrible and all of it is processed and because there is always a choice to have a sweet and over processed food that is more like candy the kids will always take it over the good stuff.
The townsfolk are against Jamie Oliver
The Radio DJ is against Jamie Oliver
The school cooks are against Jamie Oliver
Finally Jamie Oliver finds a supporter in the local preacher who sees the results of bad eating with the young adults dying far to young. And Jamie goes out to one families house to start his food revolution and let them know how they can change and change for the better.
Anyway you can watch Jamie Olivers Food Revolution and it is really entertaining and it is very interesting to see food choices and how someone has to be accountable for children and even themselves as far as health is concerned and not to just object to change.
And I don’t want to give the ending away but it is going to work out well. I hope

Thankyou jamie keep up the awsome work
It sounds like an interesting look at healthy eating. I must admit that I enjoy The Biggest Loser. I’m not so sure about Kirstie Ally’s new show. Sounds like a bunch of nonsense. While it can be motivating to watch and learn from someone in the process, I don’t think Kirstie is that person.
This is sure to be a very interesting show. Changing a town’s eating habits can be extremely difficult. It would take great determination just to positively change one persons eating habits! This has partly motivated me to make my new website: http://FitnessFoodFight.com. Thanks a ton.
