I know nothing about the LA Weight Loss Program except for the bad press that it has gotten inside fitness circles as a bit of a scam as no doubt other diet plans have been called over the years. I found this bit of information by a supporter of the program just letting your know what LA Weight Loss is all about.
The LA Weight Loss is indeed unlike any weight loss program out there. Even before you can access the program itself, you need to get a physical checkup done through a professional, as well as have yourself weighed. As soon as they have all the required data from you, they will put together a custom diet plan for you.
While different clients report different results, the LA Weight Loss program promises its clients a loss of at least two pounds per week, that is, if you strictly abide by their rules. The LA Weight Loss also offers one-on-one counseling, which I believe is a very powerful addition and should be taken advantage of regardless of your age or weight.
LA Weight Loss Questions
First of all, you will need to fill out a series of questions. There would be specific questions on what you eat daily and what not, as well as what your favorite foods are! Make sure you are totally honest when filling out this questionnaire, as this will be the basis of your diet plan. A professional will review your questionnaire and then will create a nutritious diet plan that you are required to follow from that point of time.
This diet plan would include vegetables, fruits, starches, etc., that are healthy for your body as well as low on calorie count. Apart from that you will also get the LA lite, a soy protein bar specially manufactured for their overweight clients.
Following the LA Weight Loss can be pretty expensive, more so if you purchase the soy protein bars regularly and make the payment in cash. However, the organization also offers an easy finance option and I highly recommend you try to use it; this way you won’t have to burn a hole in your pocket in a big way. You need to be disciplined with the weight loss program. You are also required to visit a clinic regularly - at least three times per week - in order to have yourself checkup by the program’s counselor.
LA Weight Loss Phases
With the LA Weight Loss plan, you will basically need to go through three phases of weight loss.
During the first phase, you will be offered a protein-rich diet, with a high restriction on the consumption of carbohydrates.
The second phase will introduce the carbohydrates slowly, and you will be allowed to consume carbs but only on a moderate level. Throughout this phase you will go on increasing your carb intake stage by stage.
The third and final stage will reintroduce the foods that were prohibited. As you can see, the LA Weight Loss program follows a systematic approach when it comes to weight loss, and I am sure it will work for you as it has for others. Just don’t expect any quick-fix weight loss solution from them; remember that you need to put in the required effort in order to get the desired results!
