Microderm abrasion is a method used either in office or at home to scrape the top of your skin off. I know that this description is not very fair but most articles on the subject are very fluffy and vague. Actually in an esthetician or dermatologist office there is specialized equipment which will help the person to gently scrape that top layer of skin off and then suck that off your skin so that it does not clog your pores. Usually people will go for about 12 sessions or so of microderm abration and this should clear the skin really well getting rid of some of your scars and uneven coloring of your skin. So if it is so easy why not do this procedure at home? I thould that this would be a great way to get rid of my acne scaring and also my skin to meios looking a little blotchy. The trouble is that going in for microderm abrasion treatments can cost $100 or more per treatment and doing 12 treatments could be expensive to say the least. My fail over was to just go to the drugstore and get a home microderm abrasion kit. The problems with doing this kind of work on your face is that it generally uses some kind of scraping tool that can harm your skin if your are not careful. Because of the way that microderm abrasion works you can seriously hurt your skin permanently if you are not careful. I am still researching the whole microderm abrasion idea and see whether this will work for me or not. In the meantime I have found an article that talks about the home microderm abrasion kits and how effective they are as well as the safety and cost. I Will report back after I have learned a little more about this whole idea of home microderm abrasion as well as whether you need to go back for more, have other treatments, the best amount of time between treatments and anything else I can think of. Looking to make a change and lose some weight? I have reviewed the top diet on the internet and you can go and read over 200 comments people have made about why this diet has worked well for them, as well as some of the problems. MizFit
Miz Fit you have it right. I have been known in the past to be a little vain although I am mostly better now. I was talking with my wife about this post and when she said I should not be leaving my skin to the drugstore I told her that the difference would be a best actor Academy Award or a best writer award instead (I still have not written a screenplay so I am a while away)
I will as I said learn more about these home treatments and see if they are really worth it or just plain dangerous.
