Diet Tribe is a diet and exercise show on the Lifetime network and this season will be a bit different than last with a few additions. This season the contestants will try to lose weight and improve their health by preparing for a triathalon as well as haveing a phychotherapist on the show helping the people try to figure out those problems that they may not recognise that are causing them to gain weight. As we all know obesity is a really big issue in North america and with shows like the Biggest Loser getting a lot ratings, and interest from TV viewers it is not surprising at all that Lifetime is mixing up Diet Tribe and bringing it back for another season. Professional fitness trainer and health expert Jessie Pavelka and psychotherapist Stacy Kaiser return to guide and coach an all-new tribe as they work toward creating healthier and happier lives, one pound at a time. “DietTribe” Season 2 follows five women for 120 days as they struggle to stay on track through the toughest workouts of their lives and face the scale each week to see how far they’ve come both mentally and physically. Sisters Stephanie Taulealea (40) and Tiffany Young (36) have shared everything about their lives, including their bad eating habits and gastric bypass surgeries. It is necessary to be consistent in your eating habits for effectively following the diet plan. It is not necessary to count calories, but you should become more educated about the foods you eat and how many calories they contain. You should begin to routinely check the nutrition label of the foods that your family is eating. You want to try and eat foods low in calories and also low in fat. Be careful of many low fat or ‘diet foods,’ as they can still be high in calories even though they are low in fat.
I usually do that as well. I always see myself gaining a few pounds at the beginning of watching my weight. I have no idea why. It’s like your body freaks out that its not getting what it used to so it holds on to what you do give it. Keep up the hard work though the scale is sure to reflect your work soon enough…
