eDiets has an article telling us what fit people do. It is right on the mark

1. Sleep well and wake up naturally. Many fit people arise without an alarm clock feeling energized, rested and hungry. They have set fitness goals and a plan to achieve them. People who are fit fall asleep easier, have more quality sleep and require less sleep than someone who is unfit. Lack of sleep is strongly associated with obesity. Sleeping helps the body repair, rebuild and recover.

2. Get prepared. Fit people pack their gym bags the night before, have clothes laid out for exercise, toiletries packed for a shower, clothes for work and an appointment in their planner for physical activity. Wow, I was just checking this morning and over the last year I have had over 1000 people sign up to the fitness program email list that I have setup.

I had a plan initially a couple of years ago when I started this blog that I wanted to help at least a dozen people that year to lose the weight that they wanted or to at least impact a dozen people to attain their fitness goals.

After writing blog posts and procrastinating a little bit for that first year I finally setup a 12 part email course to help people to improve their fitness. I launched that a little over a year ago and have not really tweaked it at all since but I guess now I should look at that and see what ways that I can improve what I give out to the subscribers.

When I first setup the list I wanted to cover all of the aspects of food, eating patterns, cardio, weights, attitude, stretching and a few other things but the idea was to cover all of the basics in the email course and then people could have a base to learn more on the blog with my daily posts.

I am never sure how many people have been influenced by the emails that I have sent out but I am really excited that I have had some kind of an impact on a 1000 people over the last year.

If you haven’t signed up yet to the fitness email course then you can just fill out the form below
