“Habit is habit and not to be flung out of the window by any man, but coaxed downstairs a step at a time.” This quote by Mark Twain may not seem to have anything to do with losing weight on its face. However, as you progress in your weight loss program, you may find wisdom in it.
Maintaining proper motivation to continue a weight loss program can be one of the biggest hurdles when trying to lose weight. There are, however, some tricks you can use to stay motivated.
The motivational trick that many people report working best for them is looking down at the scale and seeing actual progress. If you are able to get off to a good start, losing those first 5 pounds can turn into a dramatic motivator. Once you see that your program is working and it is actually possible for you to lose weight, you will be encouraged to stay with it, and the weight loss will continue. Read the rest of this entry »

I know nothing about the LA Weight Loss Program except for the bad press that it has gotten inside fitness circles as a bit of a scam as no doubt other diet plans have been called over the years. I found this bit of information by a supporter of the program just letting your know what LA Weight Loss is all about.
The LA Weight Loss is indeed unlike any weight loss program out there. Even before you can access the program itself, you need to get a physical checkup done through a professional, as well as have yourself weighed. As soon as they have all the required data from you, they will put together a custom diet plan for you.
While different clients report different results, the LA Weight Loss program promises its clients a loss of at least two pounds per week, that is, if you strictly abide by their rules. The LA Weight Loss also offers one-on-one counseling, which I believe is a very powerful addition and should be taken advantage of regardless of your age or weight. Read the rest of this entry »

If you really want to lose weight, the best way to do this is to set a weight loss goal, and for that you need to have a clear idea of what you really want from your weight loss program.
Here are the four basics that you need to internalize to help you lose weight and not only continue losing but not put it back on Read the rest of this entry »

We all know that positive thinking is good but I for one get a little irritated when I see people that apparently never have a negative thought, it makes me feel like they are tuning out some of the stuff in life just to make sure that they are not negative. I am probably not being fair though because one of the real reasons that people do not lose weight is because negative thoughts will cause them to fail before they even have a chance to lose weight.
Lets Get Positive about Weight Loss Now
If you really want to achieve any goal, you need to think positive. This is true not just of weight loss goals but of every type of goal you might have. Be it a business or a family goal, you cannot achieve it unless you succeed in overpowering negativity. Once you set a goal, there will be obvious roadblocks on your way in the form of negative thoughts and feelings that will make you depressed and de-motivated. Your job is to weed out those negative thoughts from your mind and replace them with positive ones. Read the rest of this entry »
