We all love watching X-Weighted and one of the real highlights of the show is not just the transformations in just a few months but also the no nonsense way in which Paul Plakas helps, pushes and fights against what people want to do in order to make them that much better.

I just saw on a comment from Paul on my X-Weighted post that Paul has his own website now which is great!

Paul PlakasYou can get lots of great info on Paul Plakas‘s website including info on the X-Weighted TV show, a blog with lots of great articles, his newest bodcasts (video podcasts that Paul has done) and lots more. The site really is great!

Paul’s fans as well as many people that want to be on the X-Weighted show email me and comment quite often so now people can go straight to the source. I am not sure how much Paul has to do with getting people onto the X-Weighted show but perhaps if you visit his website you will be able to find this out.

Also, if you live in the Edmonton area Paul Plakas is a personal trainer as well as a fitness show trainer and I am sure would be a fantastic one. Visit the new site and find out more about Paul and send him an email.

  2. Hi Paul, I’m hooked on your show. I was wondering if you ever work with someone who only has 20lbs to lose? Here’s my story, I am 54 yrs old, 5″4 woman who weigh’s 145 pounds. I am very frustrated with dieting, and food. I’m allergic to chicken and turkey so I end up eating alot of fish and sometimes
    beef, pork. I’m retired so I have no excuses , I do go to the gym 4 times a week, Zumba dance class 3 times a week, water aerobic 5 times a week. Help, what am I doing wrong? I have stayed to same for a year now. I can’t wait to hear from you. Thank you.

  3. Hi Paul, My name is Kim, as many have written above, I need to lose ! My story is simple; I have gained for many reasons: neglecting a healthy lifestyle (honestly, laziness and poor decisions on my behalf), hereditary obesity, and polycystic ovarian syndrome. I am currently the mother of two boys (Caleb is a year and a half, Eli is a month and a half), and I need to implement better life decisions for not only my sake but also to make sure they are brought up to naturally implement intelligent healthy choices. If I don’t change my lifestyle choices it will not only affect me, but all those who are around me. With my current state, I am also not at my peaked and people do not see my true potential, and I am far from finding my own potential and my true self. I guess I’m kind of hiding from myself. Now is my time to shine and I need a coach. Can you help me out? My goal is to lose nearly 50lbs in 6 months. I currently 175lbs and would love to be 130lbs. I think it is great . i wondered if you will ever do a show over here,i am struggerling to lose wieght and keep it off. i think that anyone trying to lose wieght could do with you , your encorragement and motavation is what we all need.

  7. hey paul , how are you ? i’am from toronto canada , the reason iam contacting you is i need your help !! i’am 5’11 / 313 lbs. i was once a handsome goodlooking guy , now i’am real fat and out of shape guy.. i have tried everything you can think of from dieting and exercising to diet pills…my most biggest accomplishment was back in may 2007 i had joined Dr. Bernstien ….i had wieghed 305 lbs. by the end of july I had wieghed 235 lbs. i lost 70 lbs . i was living my dream of beeing in shape and looking good for only 7 month’s …i had gained it all back …I was desperatley seeking help from everywhere not to gain the wieght back , i have been following your show since the beginning of the 2008 , i know there is alot of other people out there asking for the same help… i have been praying you would come to toronto , my wieght is keeping me back from accomplishing my goals to become a police officer ,i could never pass the physical in my horrible condition ..and also learn how to be a boxer….my last and final straw of losing wieght is going anererxic if there is no one who can help thanx….

  9. I enjoy the concept of the show X-ed but I really can’t tolerate the way that Paul talks to the participants. I understand that he was bullied as a teen, but Paul BULLIES the participants. The participants lower their heads as though they’ve become victims, yet again, of a behaviour that many have experienced before. Victimizing others is DIFFERENT than motivating them. Many offer excuses, but if Paul is truly a professional, he could motivate them & counter any excuses without ridiculing the participants.

    1. Some of these people have been treated like babies for too long. They need a good swift kick in the ass.
      I have seen every episode of X-Weighted since its original form in “Taking it off”. He has never been rude or cruel, just truthful to people who need to be straight forward and honest with them. He pushes them, which is what they need. This shows been on a long time, they know what its about and they have seen Paul in action. If he is not for you, fine don’t do the show. If you want results Paul is the guy. It boggles my mind when he meets people who fight with him on how to lose . Your heavy, he isn’t. Why don’t you listen to him? I’ll tell you why! Because he is polite but straight up with you. Basically get off your ass!

    My name is tanya and I’m 25 years old. The last time I weighed myself I was 270lbs. I’m 5’6 and I need surgery Oct 2009. I need help losing at least 70lbs to enable me to have the surgery. But it seems like whenever I am on a diet I gain . I live near winnipeg mb and I desperately need help!

    I think X-Weighted is a really great show. The new series has given me a much needed boost. My dad died on 5th March 2009. He was 57 years old and died of a massive blood clot to heart. Because of this I was advised that I should get my colestrol checked. I found out that I have high colestrol. I am now trying to change my habits to loose 50lbs and secure my life so that I can out live my dad, for the sake of my husband and two boys. I’m not sure if you do give any advice, but if you did have time it would be really appriciated.

    MY NAME IS DEANNA. I WATCH YOU’R SHOW ALL THE TIME. I LIVE IN NEWFOUNDLAND . ITS VERY LIMITED TO WEIGHT LOSE PROGRAMS UNLESS TO HAVE A LOT OF MONEY JUST SITTING AROUND.
    I AM OVER WEIGHT I WEIGHT ABOUT 245 POUNDS AND IM ONLY 27. I NEED HELP. I NEED SOMEONE TO PUSS ME TO MY LIMIT. I HAVE TRIED SO MANY THINGS ON MY OWN AND IT NEVER WORKS.   15. Hi Paul, my name is Sharon and i have been trying to loose for quite a while now. I go to the gym four times a week, i do intervil training every other day and i am getting my heart rate up to 160-170, i also do 30 minute spin classes followed by 45min swiss ball,i have a very healthy diet and thankfully i am not a junk food lover and it seems very unfair that i am putting a lot of effort in and not getting a result.Can u suggest any reasons why this may be as its making me feel very dishartend. I am 44 and weigh 12stone and 5’4 and would like to loose two stone.

    What I am wondering if this is Pauls real website. If so than I would also having some training tips.
