Perhaps you are already aware of the fact that you need to reduce your overall calorie intake in order to acquire the sexy and slim body you desire. However, if you thought that cutting down on your calorie intake means counting the calorie of every little item of food that you partake of, you couldn’t be further from the truth. There is a BIG difference between calorie reduction and calorie counting.

Many people don’t take the calorie counting method of dieting in a favorable light since it is tedious and time consuming. The problem gets worse if you are in the habit of eating out at restaurants too frequently. Most decent restaurants would offer you tasty foods but few would take the trouble to list the respective calorie contents of each food served.

Good news is that you can reduce your calorie intake without actually having to count each and every calorie. If you are wondering how that could be possible, that is exactly what I will tell you in this article.

I personally find the concept of maintaining a food journal or diary and writing about every little detail about my food habits in it boring. You not only need to write about the meals you have in morning, afternoon and evening but also your snacks, the occasional ‘binge-eating’, those packets of chips and popcorn you munch on unconsciously while watching your favorite movie or cartoon show, etc.

This is as tedious as it could get, which is why I abandoned it altogether for natural calorie reduction methods which don’t require counting my calorie intake like a mathematician.

Therefore, if you are ready to reduce your calorie intake without the calorie counting part, you need to do two things. First, you need to modify your food habits by a large extent by replacing all of your favorite junk foods with healthy and organic foods. Second, you should start eating your meals in smaller portion sizes.

Eating meals in small portions is nothing complicated; if you currently eat two large meals, you simply need to split those meals into four. That way you would be eating much less food at a time. At the same time, you should also make sure that you eat those small meals frequently so that there is not a very huge gap between two successive meals; otherwise, you would feel hungry and start munching on fatty foods, which won’t be good.

To give you a few ideas, let’s say that currently you eat one large bowl of cereals for breakfast. How about cutting that meal’s size into two, so that you eat half of it at breakfast and the other half at lunch? Alternatively, let’s say that you usually have four scrambled eggs at breakfast; instead of that, you can eat two eggs at breakfast and keep the other two for dinner.

Instead of having a huge lean chicken breast for one dinner, slice the chicken into two, have one slice for today’s dinner and keep the other for tomorrow. Likewise, instead of gorging on a large sandwich, why not cut it into two, eat each part at lunch and dinner respectively.

Now you maybe are wondering how you could reduce your calorie intake while eating the same amount of foods. Let me tell you that calorie cutting doesn’t require drastic food reduction on your part. By eating in small portions, you are offering your body the exact amount of calories it needs at a certain period, without actually reducing the total amount of calories required by your body for proper functioning.

Thus, there is no question of your body depositing extra calories as fat, and as a result, there is no chance of you ever putting on extra .
