Fruit Salad – A great and easy snack
Fruit salad is just awesome. All the waterous calories as well as great taste and full of vitamins. And you can make a good fruit salad in just a few minutes.
Making Fruit Salad Fast
Last night my son had a friend over for dinner and after dinner he wanted some kind of snack. My son had his fair share of junk during the day so when I asked apple? Grapes, nectarine? I kept getting a no. Finally I offered him a fruit salad and his friend and him loved it. And it was not even much work at all.
- 1 Cup of grapes
- 1 Nectarine
- 1 Red Apple
OK, I washed all the fruit, pulled out a cutting board and then cut the grapes in half, cut the nectarine and apple into wedges and then just sliced it all into a couple of bowls. Done, 2 bowls of fruit salad
You could add all sorts of easy things to this fruit salad that I did not have in the fridge. There are blackberries, blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, cantaloupe, watermellon, and honeydew.
After the fruit salad is finished of course you could add on ice cream or whip cream although my wife is more of a fan of yogurt or Cool Whip
