Cardio is 20 minutes of hard cardio – Hard cardio is defined as keeping your heartrate up around 80% of your max. This will raise your metabolism for a long time 12 – 24 hours.

Walking or casual exercise can be an hour long – This is a great way to burn fat as you can exercise low impact by walking for an hour.

Weights should be basic exercises – Basic exercises are things like squats, bench presses, lunges, military presses. These exercises work a lot of muscle groups at once.

I have been strugling with my since I was 15, I use to be such a cute kid and now I can barely look at myself in the mirror. I really went downhill when I eneterd college at 19.   3. I Have always struggled with my I am 21 Years old I am 5’1″ and weigh 154 lbs… 3 years ago i was only 116 lbs I was thin and alot happier with my looks. Now I feel over and ugly. I have a wedding to go to at the end of june and am trying to loose by then I know i wont loose all the but I hope to atleast reach 15 or even 20 lbs. I really hope this diet works Im gonna try and keep up a good exercise routine and a healthier diet. I might even try that carb diet, though ive never tried it ive seen it work for others and as hard as it will be im gonna give it a try.

  6. okay so im 16 and 5’4 this passed summer i did the best thing for me. i went on a carb diet. its not like what every1 says about it u can totally b healty with it. i started at 173 and got down to 153. i am thrilled but its march and i wann look good for summer. i still need to lose 20 more lbs cause i JUST got back on the diet in feb cause i cheated from sept till then. my prob is i havent lost any yet. ive stopped eating after 7pm i eat amazing food and i never starve, my parents say im in a warp nd should get out of it soon i hope but with some more excercise should come right off but for those out there who really wanna drop lbs fast this is pretty much what i did.. i ate eggs for breakfast most of the time with melted cheese any type, sometimes with bacon or sausage then i would eat either celery, cucumbers, hard boiled eggs or low fat cheese sticks in between meals. lunch i would make tuna salad with celery and mayo or chicken salad with the same ingredients, egg salad. this salad i made with onions tuna mayo celery and hardboild egg amazing and filling but sounds gross. lunch meat with cheese and mayo in a bowl mixed up. dinner i would hav buffalo chicken, cheese burgers, hot dogs (with out bun) chicken parm eggplant parm (no pasta). there was soooo much food and it worked i drank tea with splenda or equal whaen i wanted sweet things and sugar free jello with whipped cream. If this worked for me it can work for you. i was so over i was in a depression and this really worked its great especially cause i never portion controlled which was big for me. if u hav any questions please ask cause i would love to help ppl the way this diet ha helped me 🙂

I played football so i got up to 160 pounds and I was cut, then I moved away so I stopped working out, and gained 20 pounds. I used to talk to any girl and knew I looked good. But, now I’m scared to go back and see my friends. But guys I saw this yesterday got a membership at the gym. Worked out for an hour, ran 2 miles, and swam 20 laps. Im not in bad shape but i hate my flabby stomach. But, just by doin this for one day I already feel like I’ll have this gone in no time.   9. Take diet pills to suppress your hunger. Sounds drastic but do u wanna look hot by may or not. Seriously work out u have to. Go to ur local gnc n they will set u up with sum pills. Try to go running every day if u don’t hve a gym membership. And don’t eat absolutely anything or drink anything with calories past 7. If u do that and only eat 1500 calories a day u could lose at least 30 lbs by may

  12. Some things you should think about. When you workout to lose your stomach, hips, or thighs You have to realize working out that area won’t take the day from that area. Everyone burns day from different parts on there body. By just working out that specific area you just build and strengthen that muscle. The best thing to do to get that shape you want and burn off the day you want is a balanced total body workout. It’ll tone your whole body while burning fat from your body. And the skin will stretch back tight, if it doesn’t, it’s because there is still a thin layer of fat between the skin and muscle. So, keep working. Another thing, you have to mix up your workout. Walking on a treadmill everyday for months will eventually decrease in benefit, you’ll plateau. Add some hand s, join a cardio boxing class, anything to keep your body guessing what’s next. Variety is the spice of life and losing 🙂 good luck

  15. Okay. Those of you who are in the 5′ to 5’5″ and weigh between 120-150 lbs… YOU ARE CURRENTLY AT A HEALTHY WEIGHT NOT FAT. So shut up, please…? Take into consideration how your comments may make some people feel. Those of us who are in that same range, but weigh more than 200 lbs. I’ve been struggling with my for years. I was never taught healthy eating habits, and when I’m hungry I often reach for what I shouldn’t. When I was 12, I weighed 150 lbs. At 15, I weighed 200. Now, at almost 20 years old, I weigh 260 lbs. Probably more than that since I don’t have a scale. I could exercise all I want, but no matter how little you eat, if you’re eating total crap, it won’t matter. I have NO control over the food that is available to me, as I live with my mom and she’s bigger than I am. I have struggled for nearly ten years with depression and being over, and it’s not easy like everyone says. Especially when you’re doing it on your own, you don’t have access to a gym or safe neighborhood to go jog or walk in, and you don’t have any fitness equipment of any kind in your home. I’m going to Yellowstone for the summer to work, and I hope to lose there where I have some more control. But I HATE my body. I know I’m slowly killing myself, but I can’t get help here. I don’t want to be skinny. I want to be healthy… average. I want to get down below 200, and I want to be able to wear a size 14-16. When it sounds like it’s only 3 and four dress sizes, it sounds easy… but even such simple things can be nearly impossibilities.

  16. Hi, I’m 19 years old and weigh 136 pounds. I’ve been tryin ways to lose about 15 to 20 pounds and have failed miserably. I love food so i cant follow a diet tht doesnt allow me to eat. I’m also 5’4″. I tried one way and had lost about 10 pounds by eating a bowl of oats daily and doin cardio for 1 hour daily. This took me 2 weeks but since i moved back to canada the depression has made me put the back on. So i’d be happy to go through this diet with more people.
