I still like fast food and even though I avoid it at almost all costs I will still fall pretty hard for a side of fries. Lately I have been able to avoid fast food altogether by making sure that I plan dinners with my wife more often and better.

Fast Food Restaurants & Nutrition Facts Compared
Looking at the list will make you even more aware of the bad choices in fast food takeout. I always think that the average person should only be eating about 1500 calories a day so when I see a list like this I try to see how hard it is to eat 1000 calories (this would be a very bad and big meal) and according to this list it would not be difficult at all.
The other thing that is hard to count but should be pretty clear by now to most people is the lack of micronutrients in fast food. when you deep fry everything it turns into the food quality of candy. There are no vitamins and minerals left from the potato after you slice and dice and fry the crap out of it.

Another source that I’ve found to be particularly helpful for fast food nutrition facts is http://www.fast-food-nutrition.info . The layout allows you to easily find foods by restaurant name or search. The only problem is that most of the foods don’t show trans fat content.
