Have you ever heard the story that there are 8 teaspoons of sugar in a can of pop? I heard this again last week and finally, with a pop and the internet in front of me looked it up. Here is a table of the number of calories in different amounts of white sugar
And the can of Coca Cola in front of me? It has 160 calories so that is 7 heaped teaspoons of sugar. It seems crazy becuase I could not imagine eating 7 teaspoons of sugar out of a bowl but drinking a can of pop is never difficult for me. Looking to make a change and lose some weight? I have reviewed the top diet on the internet and you can go and read over 200 comments people have made about why this diet has worked well for them, as well as some of the problems. If there’s something you want to avoid, it’s Soda. It can really set you back if you are trying to stay healthy.
The other thing is fries. Deep fries saturated fats. Not good.
I’ve been addicted to soda for years. I recently started paying attention to labels, and after discovering that one 20 ounce has approximately 75 grams of sugar, I think it’s time to look for a healthy alternative. I’ve tried diet drinks, but I can’t stand the after taste left by artificial sweetners.
