The clock is ticking and you need to plan or time will run out.

What the hell am I talking about?

Well this weekend my wife went out of town with my daughter and my son and I have a guys weekend together. Not like back in the 80’s though as my son is 5 years old. He is excited and having a good time with me and we have done some fun stuff.

But here is the thing. My son loves video games and would burn away the day playing if he was given the chance. How many of us are like this with other things in our life? What will you do today to make tomorrow better and still have you go to sleep proud of the way that you spent today?

I know some days I will slog through, surf a bit, write a post or two, get my exercise in but it seems that it is not enough and I find myself just meandering through the day.

What you need to do is hit the ground running. Find something that you have been putting off and do it today! Find some downtime and just relax on a fall Saturday for an hour or two. What will you do tonight to finish off this grand Saturday?

Make the most of today. I am looking at the weather report and it looks like the weather will be going downhill starting tomorrow until probably April (lots of snow in these parts over the Winter).

Do what is the remainder of our guys day going to be? unch, a movie, a park, tacos for dinner, and then out to the pool for a swim. I am not sure if my son will remember our day together in 5 years but I know I will.
