Fat Loss for Idiots is a site and diet that my wife had learned about from her stepmom. Initially I looked at the Fat Loss For Idiots website and saw that after clicking though a bunch of pages of information I found that the program was only $39.

  2. Hi, I am 27 years old and I have struggled with my all my life. I lost 100 pounds 3 years ago it took me 9 months by counting calories and exercising.
    About 65 of those pounds have returned and I lost all hope until reading the reviews on this website. I purchased FL4I and this is my second day on the plan. So far it is easy to follow. The only problem I seem to be confused about is when I am acutally satisfied. Sometimes I feel like my mind is playing tricks on me. I would feel satisfied but then about an 1 1/2 to 2 hours later I would feel hungry but I dont eat any additional meals. Can someone give me a tip of what is enough food and am I suppose to be drinking water when I am on this diet. I will keep you guys posted on my progress and please prey for me guys. I really need to loose this , for myself esteem as well as my health thanks.

  3. I am totally interested in both books offered here but I have a question for Bill. I work out at least 5 days a week for at least 30 minutes a day, most days it is an hour. I run on my treadmill, workout on my total gym and sometimes do pilates. I have about 20 pounds of post baby I can’t seem to lose. My question is this, will this work for me because I am very active?   5. Well i completed the 11 days on Dec. 23rd. My at the end of the 11 days was 342 which was a loss of a minimum 9 lbs. I took the three days off to eat all the great X-mas foods, ONLY GAINED BACK 3 lbs. Decided to take the rest of the year off and start fresh in 2009.     i am on my second cycle now and with gaining back some on the cheat days I have lost 9 pounds. I am 5’1” and weighed 129 pounds before i started. I want to lose another 9 pounds. My husband started the diet with me on the second round we are on day 7.he has already lost 10 pounds!! Why do men lose it sooo much easier and faster?? My concern now is that we are going on vacation for 10 days. It will be almost impossible to stick to the diet i am afraid i will gain everything back, any suggestions???

  7. Hey Staciet, thanks for the comment. I get lots of questions about the cost of the Fat Loss 4 Idiots plan. There is a bit of a strange way that the diet is promoted saying that you can get it for half price, 50% off (they even have some kind of a discount code). Well that would be if the core of the diet was $78 which would still be fair. In actual fact the site goes for $39 for a lifetime membership to the diet generator and the diet handbook (they can not be bought seperately).

    There is an additional book that you can pay at checkout called Beyond Calories and this book costs 16.95 and gives an alternative diet plan than the diet generator, many people seem to like it.

    As I pointed out in the review, since this is just a one time cost it is much cheaper than either Jenny Craig or Weight Watchers and is at least as effective. If you put in the work of eating right and getting a bit of exercise you will lose on this diet or else you will get your money back.

  8. Is the fee a one time fee or monthly? Also I’m curious about what the foods are like…I read something about an all fruit day… meaning nothing but fruit all day? That sounds a little extreme. I have IBS and i don’t know how well my stomach will react to all that acid.

The Fat loss 4 idiots diet does encourage some exercise. you will be able to see quite quickly whether you are getting too much much exercise because your body will start storing fat and you will find the fat will not come off as easily. Try it out and see how it goes, there seems to be a lot of success stories over the last year so the diet definitely works.

  10. Hello everyone! I am on my 5th day on the diet. I am 6′ 1″ and when my got too heavy for the scale, It WAS TIME!!!! The scale only went up to 350, so I am not sure how much above that I was. Like I said, I am on my 5th day and have lost at least 6 lbs. I am now 344 lbs. I am doing the 6 meal plan which can be a head ache planning for the next day but I am getting use to it.     I really appreciate all the feedback you’ve been giving on this site. It’s helpful and I’ve read through most of it.

    I’m looking to make a lifestyle change for myself and drop about 60lbs. This program seems like a good way to do it. Right now I live a sedentary lifestyle, but I’d like to start getting more active and fit.

    I’d like to start working out a couple of hours a day on weekdays and up to 4 hours a day on weekends (hiking with my dog and doing some aerobics). Do you know if there’s a chance that this amount of activity could compromise the Fat Loss For Idiots diet (in terms of loss)? My goal is to lose the quickly, and if lots of activity will compliment the FLDI diet then I’m very eager to do that.

  12. I am due to start the diet this Thursday, Im currently 145, and need to get down to a 118, for my modelling shoot, do you think this is possible, or is it a matter of the smaller you are the harder it is to loose .

    Also im on Iron tablets due to anemia, will it still be OK to take my supplements or do supplements hinder the progress on thid diet?

  13. I am really not sure how easy it is to avoid these creamy kinds of foods. I can understand where you are coming from as I do not like cottage cheese or mayo or cream cheese.

    People often will say “Oh you must be eating healthy not having Mayo” But I have to tell them that it is because I do not like it.

    Maybe we can have some more people respond as to the amount of milk like products on the diet regularly.

  14. Hey Bill, overall I eat what I believe to be relatively healthy (tuna fish in water, salads with light dressing) and work out regularly (3 times a week, 1/2 hour each time). I am considering this diet because I hope to lose between 10-20 lbs by or shortly after the new year. I notice a lot of the postings about the diets contain cottage cheese, milk shakes, yogurt, and other dairy products. Besides being lactose intollerant, I simply do not like the taste of anything creamy including soy milk. I take vitamins to help make up for my daily values of Calcium and Vitamin D. I also do not like the taste of pinto beans or any other cooked “mushy” beans. Edamame and green beans are fine.

    Here’s my issue, I don’t want to pay the money if what it’s going to suggest is food I don’t like. Can you give any insight if the menus it’s going to suggest will be riddled with these two food groups that I don’t like? I understand it bases the menus off of food that you like, but does it take into account the foods that you don’t like to eat? I’m counting calories right now in an effort to shed the , but the idea of increased metabolism appealed to me.

    You are right. The diet is set and you eat what is on the diet. It is much better to change your habits than to worry about what substitutions that you can make to the diet as given.

    Most people that are looking to lose have made terrible food substitutions in the past so it is a good idea to eat what is stated on the diet itself.

  16. @Karen: You’re right, all those things are allowed, so your diet coke chicken should work.

    After a bad accident took me down to 145 lbs. (5’10”) and then medication took me to 210 lbs., I wanted a solution that made sense and didn’t require constant purchasing of “special” foods. NutriSystem was an expensive failure for me.

    I work as a field sales professional, so carrying frozen stuff around wouldn’t work. Turns out that FL4I can be maintained at an average convenience store! Nuts/deli meat/diet coke can all be had at a 7-11. I can drive and make calls all day and not break this diet.

    I actually read all 250 comments here, and I’m surprised how many people keep asking “this diet sounds effective, but can I use it and not change my habits/change the food/keep doing what I’m doing?” NO. You paid for a diet plan, follow it. The plan is clear on what’s allowed and what isn’t. You might have to deal with skim milk & splenda in your coffee, or mustard instead of mayo on a sandwich. Get over it.

  19. I haven’t started yet. Will start the Sunday after turkey day. On the day that I can have chicken, can I make Diet Coke chicken? You just make it with diet coke, ketchup, and chicken. All are allowed. I am so ready to see the results of this diet.
