Fat Loss For Idiots - Will It Help You Lose Weight?
Fat Loss for Idiots is a site and diet that my wife had learned about from her stepmom. Initially I looked at the Fat Loss For Idiots website and saw that after clicking though a bunch of pages of information I found that the program was only $39.
Read this entire review before you make a decision about Fat Loss For Idiots. And by the way, there is a special offer at the bottom of the page.
As a fitness and health enthusiast I know that there are no easy ways out of losing weight so when I first saw all of the hype around fat loss for idiots I was of course initially skeptical.
I have scoured the internet looking for more information on the Fat Loss For Idiots program and would like to present this to you here so that you can make an informed decision when you visit the Fat Loss For Idiots site.
Lose Weight Fast with Fat Loss For Idiots?
Fat Loss for Idiots - Great and Fast Weight Loss
Fat Loss for Idiots claims you can lose 9 pounds lost in 11 days. Wow, is this possible? You probably have your doubts but I know because I have seen it happen, with the right diet and exercise program you can lose weight and lose it quickly.
I would suspect with a good plan and some exercise that you should be able to lose 4 pounds per week or more.
This initial big weight loss is often possible during an induction (typically a phase where you drop out starchy carbs). The weight lost is a mixture of water and fat (and possible muscle). For some though this start is going to make a huge difference in continuing the diet, as we all know starting strong will help you continue for a few weeks.
After that quick weight loss it is important that you continue eating according to the plan and get some exercise of any kind and you will continue losing weight. The way the diet cycles means that you should lose weight every week with no bad weeks at all.
Fat Loss for Idiots Meal Plan
This is a great part of the fat loss for idiots program
Fat Loss for Idiots food is made up of lean proteins, fruit and vegetables, and the sources of fat come from whole foods (such as cottage cheese or eggs). There are some starchy carbohydrates (such as oats and pasta). The day is divided into 4 meals that should be eaten at a minimum of 2 1/2 hours apart. There is no calorie or carb counting, no limit on portion size - Weight Loss 4 Idiots says you “just eat short of being full”.
After the 11 day meal plan there is a 3 day “cheat” - where you get to eat whatever you want. Then you are back into the 11 day plan again.
The real difference between the fat loss for idiots plan and other plans is that the diet is purposely confusing your body so it never thinks it is starving. This is not a new meal program in that regard. Body for Life and other programs have long advocated confusing your body by having a day or more off of the diet so that you are in more control of how you eat. Fat Loss for Idiots does a good balance on this account to me.
The meal plan is created by selecting from a list of preferred foods. These are then used to generate your meal plan.
Fat Loss for Idiots also includes a very extensive handbook that teaches you how to to eat, how not to eat and what is important in your goal of losing weight.
Exercise on Fat Loss for Idiots
Fat loss for idiots is a diet program. One thing and one thing only. The people that come up with the meal plans look at you as a user of the service as a person that is mainly sedentary. We all know that exercise is important not just for weight loss but also to improve your health and to help you live a much better life with all the strength, flexibility and endurance that exercise give you.
Fat Loss for idiots recommends that you do get some exercise for additional weight loss. They encourage walking and other low intensity exercise of 30 minutes a day.
Fat Loss for Idiots - Is a Cheap Diet Program
Fat Loss For Idiots is a cheap diet. When you buy the diet is gives you access to an online diet generator as well as a diet workbook. Nutritionally it is a reduced carb diet that cycles macro-nutrient ratios (to try and trick your metabolism). It recommends common-sense weight loss principles (brisk walking, plenty of water, etc), and contains only whole foods (no processed foods, high-sugar foods, or supplements).
Here are some good reviews for the fat loss for idiots program:
“I started this diet 3 days ago, and have lost 2 and a half pounds so far.”
“I have now been on this diet for 11 days and have lost 6 and a half pounds. I am very happy with that, especially since I have not exercised or done the recommended walking.”
“On Fat loss for idiots I lost 7 pounds the first 11 days! I’m happy with that considering (like I mentioned) I had not done the suggested walking.”
The really nice thing about the fat loss for idiots diet is that it is cheap, and you buy your own food. No need to buy prepackaged food and expensive supplements which is the downfall that I always find with the more famous diets.
Fat Loss for Idiots - Will Work For Most People
There are a few things that seem to be really good in the fat loss for idiots diet and plan. Firstly the cheap nature means that you do not have to buy and create a complex meal plan. Secondly there is a cycling of your diet so that you keep your metabolism from working against you. And thirdly the diet is incredibly popular on the internet and the reason for that is that it seems to work for just about anyone.
Lastly there is a guarantee that this will work or you get your money back. I do not see any way that anyone can lose by at least trying Fat Loss 4 Idiots.
Who shouldn’t do Fat Loss for Idiots?
I have not been critical at all about Fat Loss for Idiots but I have to admit that there are some drawbacks to the diet.
If you exercise a lot Fat Loss for Idiots may not be for you. The diet itslef is a diet designed to help you lose weight but people that get a lot of exercise, and hour or more a day, may find that the diet does not offer enough calories.
The diet itself can get a bit boring. There is a lot of repetition in the menu plan but most people seem to be OK with this as this is supposed to be a diet that helps you lose the weight that you want and then you ease off to a diet that you can live with for life.
I Really Recommend Fat Loss for Idiots
There is no magic behind Fat Loss for Idiots but really what it is a good focussed meal plan and sensible exercise for beginners. Although this may not seem like much it is very important in my mind to be doing something that will give you the satisfaction that you are making the changes in YOUR life that will help you lose weight. This diet will work for you.
I am a big fan of Fat loss for idiots for no other reason than it is nice and simple, and it really does work, if you follow a diet that changes what you eat and moves you in a better direction nutritionally than what you are now.
And the simple fact is that at $39 fat loss 4 idiots is much cheaper than even a couple of weeks of Jenny Craig or Weight Watchers.
There is another option as well, for an extra 16.96 you can buy the add-on book called “Beyond Calories”.
I believe that for the low cost I have to recommend the fat loss for idiots system and hope that it works great for you. If you go ahead and buy it please come back and post a comment of what you thing of the diet…
As a favor to you to help jump start your NEW YOU program, I am offering you four free e-books if you purchase Fat Loss For Idiots though a link on this page.
The e-books are:
101 Diet Tips (A great addition to everything else you will learn here)
Skyrocket Fat Loss (A Tom Venuto Interview that spans 41 pages)
Training and Nutrition Secrets (65 pages of secrets that almost no one knows)
Losing weight without starving yourself (61 pages about…well I guess the title says it all)
These ebooks alone are worth more than the total price of Fat Loss For Idiots which is only $39
After you have purchased Fat Loss 4 Idiots just email me at bill @ nadraszky . com (just click the link) and I will forward the books to you.
One last thing - If you are looking to lose weight then you need to act now. I am not sure how many pages of diet info that you have looked at but the trouble with the internet is that there is more information then you can possibly read and the problem is that there is no real plan to follow. Buy the Fat Loss for Idiots program today and see where you are in a month.
One month from today, if you commit now, you can be 10-20 pounds lighter. Otherwise, in a month, if you do nothing you will be the same weight or even slightly more than you are today. The choice is yours.

I am now on my 3rd 11 day cycle and have lost a total of 11lbs, I have to say the first 11 days I lost 7lbs and felt great then I had my 3 days off and put on 3lbs which I thought was reasonable. After my 2nd cycle I lost 8 pounds which again I thought was great however I put back on 7lbs on my 3 days off which I’m sure isn’t healthy!!!!! I am trying it again and have so far lost 7lbs (I am in my 7th day), I am planning to be more careful in my break and see what happens. I am actually beginning to find the foods a little repetitive and I might never want to look at sausages again but we will see. It has made one thing obvious to me and that is the fact that carbohydrates really do affect my weight, also I haven’t been exercising at all which I am definately going to have to do.

I did this diet about a year and a half ago and lost 25 lbs on it!!! well now after a year of eating really crappy (a lot of fast food) I am back where i started so I am giving it another go and this time eating right after I lose it all again. Also just to let people know although it says that a brisk walk is good enough I would really reccomend 45min of good cardio instead I have done it both ways and I say 9+ lbs come off when I did the cardio as to 5-7lbs when I did the walking which isn’t bad either but if you want to quicker loss that’s how and BTW even the smallest of cheats during the 11 days will put a damper on your weight loss so TURN away from the pastries etc. it’s not worth it to eat them till your cheat days.

This is a great diet. It works for me too. I also agree with Kristina, a brisk walk is alright but real cardio is better.

I am thinking about doing this diet. I am concerned re the off days and gaining the weight back as it sounds like every other crash diet! Also, I need to loose 10 pounds which is the hardest to do. I would like to hear from someone who went on this diet with the same goal as mine, to loose 10 pounds.

for diane brown…my husband and i started the program 10 days ago. he needed to lose 25 lbs and although i needed to lose a few more than 10 (15 to be exact) i thought i was close enough to your same goal to share my experience. i have found it to be very successful! i have lost 5 lbs in 10 days which i feel to be reasonable and healthy. hubby lost 9. im nervous about the 3 cheat days but feel confident i will not splurge too badly. i should reach my total goal by the end of the next 11 day cycle. TWO THUMBS UP!!!!

My co-worker and his wife have been on this diet for a few months. “SHE” has been on it strickly. I believe she’s lost about 25 pounds since starting it in October.
The guy started it after she did. He was more leary of it working or not; but after seeing the results on his wife, he went for it. Now, he’s not on the diet, but he says that the diet brought him to a place where he’s naturally eating healthier than before. He’s done the exercise (heavy cardio) as opposed to just walking, and he’s lost about 20 pounds in a month and a half.
This has led my wife and I to try the diet. We’re only on our 2nd day right now (the fruit day). So far, so good. We have to go buy a scale, because we have no idea how much we weight (lol). I’ve been drinking a lot of water, and am looking forward to RESULTS baby.

I have been on this diet since January and I have lost 30 pounds, and 4 sizes. I started at 172 and I am now at 142. I really feel that I could eat this way for the rest of my life. I feel better on the diet than on my 3 cheat days, of course you have to be sensible on the 3 cheat days, but this shouldn’t be a DIET it should be a way of life for you. My goal weight is 130. I figure for 5′1″ and 44 years old that is a good weight.

I am interested in trying this diet but absolutely hate fish. Can anyone tell me if you have to eat much fish?
March 24th, 2008 at 11:06 am
Okay,,,, I’m going to try it!
BEST OF luck to me!
March 24th, 2008 at 5:48 pm
when on this diet do you only eat a single food at each meal?
March 26th, 2008 at 3:57 am
For Cheryl my daughter and I have been on this diet for a couple of days she hates fish and eggs and we are managing it just cuts down on variety a bit. I can’t tell you how much we lost since we want to wait a few more days.
March 27th, 2008 at 9:12 am
For Chris–The diet has changed some since the beginning. It seems that most reviews were saying you could only eat one item for each meal, but the diet generator gives you 2 or 3 options for each meal. You can eat one or all of the options. I’m on my 4th day and I’m doing great with it. The diet generator has you pick between 14 and 30 foods–2 columns (7-15 items in each column). You pick the things you like, so you should never have to eat something you don’t like. I’m not a big fan of oatmeal, but with so few carb choices, I’ll eat it anyway. I’ve lost a couple pounds so far and I’m feeling good.

I am a strict vegetarian. Will this diet work for me?

I have been asked this before and no, sorry there is no vegetarian option for Fat Loss For Idiots

I’m a little weary because I can’t find a real review site… it seems that every review site connects back to the fat loss for idiots page. Is this a scam?
April 5th, 2008 at 9:22 am
Yes, I just stumbled on this site and am trying to find some objective peer reviews — this one sounds like billyboy gets a $$$ kick-back if he sells the diet …not convinced that it is not a total scam. Is there another, neutral review site that looks and compares your diet plan and product to others? That would be most helpful.
Thanks!

What about someone that is training for a running race like a marathon or half-marathon? Could this diet provide enough calories for someone that is extremely active?
——————————————————————————————–
No, this diet is setup for someone that is getting some exercise but not lots. I think that if you are training for a long running race and you are doing a lot of daily training then the amount of food that you need to take in every day is a lot higher then the Fat Loss for Idiots diet calls for.

I would like to know the same questions from Lauren and Marie? Why have you not answered them?
April 16th, 2008 at 7:16 am
Lindsey, Marie, and Lauren… I don’t know anything about Bill, or this site, but I do know that I am on day 3 of the diet and I have already lost 3 pounds! I don’t do well with diets normally, but seeing results so quickly will hopefully help me stick to it…but I am a little worried about the 3 “free” days…
April 16th, 2008 at 2:54 pm
I have been on this diet for the last 10 days and I have lost a total of 5 pounds which I think is a healthy way to loose weight. Also, the 3 cheat days does not mean to gorge yourselves with the food that you have not eaten in the last 11 days. You should be more cautious about what you are eating now, so maybe you won’t gain to much back. I am looking forward to my next 11 days. Can’t wait to see the results!
April 18th, 2008 at 7:33 am
Well I was a skeptic myself. I also don’t know this Bill or anything. I found this site last Saturday th 12th as I was on the puter. I read alot of reviews before purchasing it. It’s not something I plan on staying on in the long run. But I definately needed a kickstart to get myself weened off of the large amount of simple carbs I was eating and this did it. So far I’m on day 5 (following the plan to a T) and I’ve lost 10lbs. I do realize that this is water, but it’s making me feel better and truly helping with my carb cravings. After the 11th day I’m going to continue to eat healthier and go from there. This was the jumpstart I needed.
April 18th, 2008 at 9:19 am
There is a vegetarian diet with this. Just look on top at the left side of the Diet Generator and there is an option for Vegetarians that my granddaughter is using.
April 18th, 2008 at 10:15 am
Good to see that there is now a fat loss for idiots option for vegetarians. I get a lot of questions about this.
The trouble that most vegetarians find with any diet is that the creators of diets are not sure how to get much protein from veggies.
Did you know that lettuce gets 34% of its calories from protein, and broccoli gets 45% of its calories from protein. Spinach is 49%. Cauliflower is 40%. Celery is 21%. Beans range from 23% to 54% depending on the variety. Grains are 8% to 31%. Nuts and seeds are 8% to 21%.
Shouldn’t be hard for Fat loss for idiots to have a vegitarian option but i am glad to see one there
April 19th, 2008 at 10:18 am
Sounds like everyone is doing awesome. One of my favorite online programs is Fat Loss 4 Idiots. Keep up the good work. Natalie

Sorry guys for the long time to answer here.
Yes, I do get a kickback from the Fat Loss For Idiots people for anyone that buys the diet through my links.
My aim in this review was to make sure that anyone that is interested in Fat Loss for Idiots is going to have trust in me and my blog long after they have bought the diet. I feel that if I support a crappy diet no one has any reason to read this blog or trust me ever, so I am very careful in the products that I promote
To build this trust I have tried to really lay out exactly what this diet is and if there is any question as to whether the diet is any good or not I have to say that many people have bought the diet and even with the 60 day refund policy only two people have asked for the refund.
Also the comments here seem to bear out that the diet really does work. I know that there is a lot of skeptics out there, especially when you look at the crappy layout of the website but a cycled diet seems to be a great idea that no one is too used to using.
One last thing, I am offering the bonuses to try and offset any cost of this diet to people and if anyone can think of anything else that I can offer please let me know.
Hope you all continue with Fat loss for idiots and please keep leaving comments

Does anybody know who the creators are of Fat Loss 4 Idiots? This is impossible to find. Credibility is important.

Actually I am not really sure of the names of the creators…I will do my best to find out.

I have been on the “fat loss 4 idiots” diet since mid January and have lost 35 pounds so far. I was desperate, my bloodpressure was going up and my doctor told me to loose weight. Every effort failed, but then I found this program. I lost 9 pounds in the first 11 days but gained 4 pounds back the first cheat days. I continued with the program and my weight keeps coming down slowly but steady. Some times I get stuck and loose very little, but it still works. I still have a long way to go but my doctor is happy with my now normal bloodpressure. My sister had joined this program shortly after I did and she too has lost over 30 pounds.
May 3rd, 2008 at 9:48 pm
The weight gain on the days off worries me. Can someone tell me are you straying far off the diet on these days or sticking relatively close but still gain? If you gain weight in 3 days, how are you supposed to keep it off after you reach your goal? Does this mean you continue the cycle of 11 on, 3 off for life?
May 3rd, 2008 at 10:46 pm
The first 9 pounds I lost were mostly water, what I gained back was water also. Within a couple of days on the diet, the pounds I gained back were gone again. On the days off, you don’t necessarely gain weight back, depending on what you eat. If you stick with the rules: eat 4 small meals per day; eat only enough to feel comfortably full, but leave some room and don’t forget to walk every day; then you don’t gain any weight back. The 3 cheatdays give you the opportunety to practice eating so you don’t gain any weight back when you are finished loosing weight.

I had all the same questions and then read some favorable reviews, so started the diet. I am on day 6 and have lost 5 pounds so far. I had baked cookies and tasted and ate one cookie–well, it slowed me down and I will not do that again. I went back today to try to download the book “Beyond the Diet” but it has to be ordered the first time you buy. it comes with the diet handbook, but not the generator (I think) amd costs around $55.00.So new buyer’s, please read everything on the starter page–don’t be in a hurry. I am wondering, Bill, if you have that part of the diet? The Beyond section.
May 5th, 2008 at 10:07 pm
How do I get back into the Generator?
May 6th, 2008 at 9:03 pm
Hi there, I just ordered the program, seems to be pretty do-able.
I will be starting this on Thursday. I will check in to track my results.
Is there a website for users? Would be great to talk with others doing this.

To get to the diet generator again just follow this link http://www.fatloss4idiots.com/22msa.php
If anyone else is having trouble remembering where to go then just click on the link and bookmark it. All you need to get to the diet generator is the month that you signed up and then use your username and password that you created to log in.

I found a few reviews on a couple of websites, and can post links to them if you guys require… From what I’ve seen, they are generally critical of it, but that seems to be based entirely on a lack of a customer service, and a lack of scientific reasoning, statistics or customer feedback on the website.
I’m thinking about giving this a go though… The main thing is its cheap and I think I need to start doing something, cos I’ve been going to for too long now.
But I want to know what the whole thing about “losing water weight” is about? A few of you guys talked about it, and I wouldn’t mind knowing more…
I also wanted to ask about some of your starting weights? I’m 5′11″ and weigh about 230lbs
May 6th, 2008 at 10:30 pm
Hey Kim, Good luck with the diet. Post back your results and hopefully we can all help and learn together
May 6th, 2008 at 10:35 pm
I just read a few of those reviews I mentioned, and all the negatives seemed to be from people who think its not worth trying…
Thats just silly. I’d try something before I said bad things about it…
May 7th, 2008 at 7:27 pm
My question is do you have to do the fruit day in order for this diet to work?
May 8th, 2008 at 10:10 am
I really think that you should follow the Fat loss for idiots diet to the letter, at least for the first while so that you can get used to the changed ways of eating. This also stops anyone from breaking into older convenient habits
